Posture – The Power of Positioning Your Heart

Posture is more than physical — it’s spiritual and emotional. How you posture your heart before God and others determines how you are received, how you respond, and how you grow.

Philippians 2:5 says, “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.” Jesus’ posture was one of humility, surrender, and obedience. He bent low so that God could lift Him high.

As leaders and citizens of the Kingdom, we must examine our posture: Are we defensive or open? Proud or humble? Resistant or surrendered? Posture shapes perspective, and perspective shapes results.

Reflection Question: What posture do I bring into conversations, challenges, and opportunities?

Action Step: Practice beginning each day with a prayer of surrender: “Lord, I position my heart to serve, to listen, and to obey.”
